1987 – PhD in Medicine (‘Clinical evaluation of antibodies to RNA-protein complexes in systemic
lupus erythematosus’).
1993–1994 – Fellowship, Department of Rheumatology, Cochin Hospital, Paris, France.

1977–1984 – General Practitioner, Hospital of the 4th Main Directorate, Ministry of Health of the
Armenian SSR.
1988–1989 – Junior Research Associate, Institute of Cardiology, Armenian SSR (‘Erebouni’
Medical Center base).
1989–present – Head, Department of Rheumatology, “Erebouni” Medical Center.
